FIRST SIX ROUNDS , by Jeff Allen

1ST PLACE RCA INTERMEDIATE

Jeff’s great display had examples of the first six types of the Single-Six.  Included was # 2026, the first known normal run Type 2.  A Type 3 Charles Jerred engraved gun and all six variations of the Type 6 with 3 walnut and 3 black rubber grip guns.  The guns are all factory lettered and displayed with their boxes and paper work.  The unique display back board was in the form of six .22 Long rifle cartridges standing on their base side by side.

CLASS OF BRASS , by Lee Sundermeier

1ST PLACE RCA ADVANCED

1ST PLACE TULSA SHOW

Lee’s fantastic display included a mint condition example of all the calibers and barrel lengths of factory assembled Brass grip frame single actions.  The guns are all boxed and some had their original shipping cartons.  Also exhibited were examples of the extremely rare factory gold and brass tone XR3 and XR3-RED grip frames.  Lee believes that these had an influence on the company which resulted in the production of the solid brass MR3-DB, dragoon-style frames.
