Read This Before You Vote

If you are a reader of our Politics and Opinion section of Gunblast.com, you will realize the importance we have placed on this upcoming election.  We, as gun owners and as citizens concerned for what is best for our country, consider this to be the most important election of our lifetimes to date.  There is much at risk.  So, I wanted to share some information with you that you may consider, and share with your friends, before casting your vote next week.

The National Rifle Association (NRA), of which I hope you as a Gunblast.com reader are a member, has shared much information as to the adverse impact toward all gun owners if Obama/Biden wins the Presidential/Vice Presidential election.  Based on factual information from what both Obama and Biden have said many times (some of which we have been quoting on a rotating daily basis on our main page), as well as their voting records, if Obama and Biden are elected we as gun owners risk the loss of our constitutional right to keep and bear arms.  We have never in the history of America had a Presidential candidate so liberal that the risk of the loss of our rights to keep and bear arms was so much at stake.  If Obama wins, then we as gun owners most certainly will risk the loss of concealed carry, the loss of being able to obtain certain kinds of guns/magazines/ammo, will face gun registration, and may even lose the right to keep and bear arms at all.  This is an agenda that Obama and Biden will push, and the best way to fight this agenda is to keep Obama and Biden out of office.  Therefore, your vote is very important.  A vote for Obama is a vote to lose your right to keep and bear arms.

Additionally, I fear that the election of Obama as President of the greatest nation on earth will be devastating for our nation.  It is proven, regardless of what you hear on the network news channels, that Obama has ties to people and organizations that support terrorism.  We are fighting a war against terrorists, and a candidate running for US President has ties to some of the very people that are in bed with our enemies.  This, my friends, is very scary. Obama has received campaign contributions from international organizations illegally.  This is of great concern.  Obama’s Muslim upbringing puts him in a position where our alliance with Israel is at risk.  Obama’s economic policies will increase our deficit and spend trillions of dollars that we do not have, putting us in a position where we must borrow money from China or other socialist nations in order to survive.  Obama’s tax plan, regardless of what he says on TV, will raise taxes to many hard-working Americans.  Several noted economists have reviewed his plans and state that there is no way that he can provide the services he offers without huge increases in taxes that will adversely impact most Americans.  Obama’s plan will put small business at risk.  Small business in America provides 85% of US jobs.  If small businesses are taxed more, then jobs will be cut and the middle-class Obama is touting to embrace will be the ones who feel the brunt of his poor economic policies.  Obama wants to socialize education.  The government has done such a good job with other things (joke), so how can we expect the government to run education?  The US education system is bad enough as it is; Obama’s plan will make it much worse.  Obama’s healthcare plan will cause Americans to be in a position where the quality of healthcare received is in jeopardy.  All one has to do is look at England or Canada.  I have many friends in Canada and it is a joke to get good treatment when needed in Canada.  Obama operates from a socialist point of view.  One has only to look at China and Russia to see how well socialist policies work.  We are America, the greatest evidence of Democracy on earth, and Obama wants to move us toward socialism.  Obama didn’t support the war in Iraq.  And, Obama didn’t support getting money to our troops that were there.  Obama didn’t support the surge that worked.  Obama has no military experience, and to put a man in charge of our military with no experience, and one that has ties to the very enemy we fight, is insane.  Our military cannot embrace Obama as Commander In Chief, and rightly so.  Obama’s track record is not friendly to our own nation’s military.  Obama has a record of being unpatriotic.  It is proven that he has refused to take an oath and has refused to say the pledge of allegiance.  There are records going through the US court system now that prove Obama was born overseas and therefore doesn’t even have the ability to run as President.  Obama has supported racism through his endorsements of a former pastor of which he openly supported for 20 years; one cannot all of a sudden when it meets political necessity shun teaching or allegiance over two decades.  If any of us that are not minorities were to endorse a candidate openly because of his/her race, we would be considered racist.  So, how can Obama, and many of those that have endorsed him, make a point that race is important in this election?  Race should not be at issue at all, but Obama and his camp make it an issue in order to win the election.

If the reasons mentioned above were not good enough, compare the level of experience of Obama and that of McCain.  Obama has very little experience, and what he has is questionable.  McCain has served his country his entire adult life.  Obama has the most liberal voting record of any setting Senator.  McCain doesn’t have the most conservative record, but it is so when compared with that of Obama.  When going to a doctor, you want quality experience.  When getting a teacher for your children, you want good experience.  When supporting a General who will lead our armed forces in times of war, we expect experience befitting the role.  The President of our nation is an office much more important than that of a doctor, or teacher, or General.  So, how can we in good conscience hire the least experienced candidate?

Friends, if Obama is elected we will see “change”.  But, Obama’s brand of change is not what we want.  I don’t consider “change” good when this change results in my loss of personal freedoms.  I don’t consider change good when it causes me to lose my right to keep and bear arms.  I don’t consider change good when it denies me the right to concealed carry.  I don’t consider change good when it puts gun companies out of business.  I don’t consider change a good thing when it puts the security of our nation at risk.  I don’t consider change positive when it bankrupts our society.  I don’t like change that increases my taxes.  I don’t consider change tolerable when it puts socialist agendas ahead of the democracy upon which our nation was founded.  I don’t consider change acceptable when race is made an issue in the election.  I don’t consider change anything less than treason when a candidate has received support from the enemies we fight in times of war.

If you want more information, please go to our Politics and Opinion section and review some of the other information contained herein.  Go to conservative websites that speak the truth about Obama and his agenda.   Go to www.nra.com.  If you listen to mainstream media, they embrace Obama’s liberal policies and therefore will not give you the truth.  Get the right information, then make an informed decision.

This is a very important election.  Please help us, the NRA, and other conservative organizations across the country sound the alarm.  Obama as President is a disaster waiting to happen.  Please, do your part to keep this from becoming a reality we will learn to hate.  Obama is a change we can live without.
