Obama: The First 200 Days

It has now been a little over 200 days that President Obama has been in office.  I thought it might be worthwhile to review his accomplishments over this first roughly 7-month timeframe.

  1. Offended the Queen of England
  2. Bowed to the King of Saudi Arabia
  3. Indicated to the President of France that America is not a Christian nation, and that America is a Muslim nation
  4. Praised Daniel Ortega, a known Marxist
  5. Kissed Hugo Chavez
  6. Endorsed Evo Morales of Bolivia
  7. Announced that he would meet with Iranians without pre-conditions
  8. Gave away billions of taxpayer dollars to AIG without establishing how we would get that money back
  9. Expanded the bailouts
  10.  Established government ownership of General Motors
  11.  Insulted the Special Olympics
  12.  More than doubled our national debt (so far)
  13.  Announced his plans to terminate the space missile defense system the day after the North Koreans launched an ICBM
  14.  Released information on intelligence gathering, despite urgings of his own CIA director and the prior 4 CIA directors
  15.  Accepted without public comment the fact that five of his cabinet members had cheated on their taxes, plus two others who withdrew after it became public that they had done likewise
  16.   Appointed as Homeland Security Chief a person who quickly identified as “dangers to the nation” groups of people including military veterans and opponents to abortion on demand, and who ordered that the word “terrorism” is no longer to be used, preferring the term “man-made disasters”
  17.   Circled the globe so he could openly apologize for America’s greatness
  18.   Told Mexicans that the violence in their country was the fault of the United States
  19.   Politicized the census by moving it from its place of origin, the Department of Commerce, into the White House
  20.   Appointed as Attorney General the man who orchestrated the forced removal and expulsion from America to Cuba of a nine-year old child whose mother died trying to bring him to a life of freedom in the US
  21.   One day openly saluted as heroes three Navy SEALS who took down three terrorists who threatened one American life, and the next day announces members of the Bush administration will likely stand trial for “torturing” a terrorist who had played a part in the killing of 3000 Americans
  22.   Flew Air Force One over New York City causing panic at a cost of $400,000 of taxpayers money in order to obtain a photo that can be produced through Photoshop for less than a dollar
  23.   Allowed the First Lady to expand the number of personal assistants from one to sixteen; the previous record for the number of personal assistants to the First Lady was four, held by Hillary Clinton
  24.   Sent his National Defense Advisor to Europe to assure Europe that the US will no longer treat Israel in a special manner and that they may well be on their own with the Muslims
  25.   Began nationalizing not only the auto industry, but also the insurance industry
  26.   Began a program that, if successful, will cause America to move into socialized healthcare; it should be noted that not even his own constituents accept all the terms of his plan
  27.   Took First Lady Michele on a date to New York at a taxpayer cost of approximately $80,000 due to shutting down parts of NYC with security forces
  28.   Threw a Hawaiian party at the White House for his friends (costing several hundred thousand dollars) in the midst of the worst financial crisis in recent US history 
  29.   Allowed Michele and the Obama kids to fly on Air Force 2 to London on a shopping trip that cost the taxpayers millions of dollars
  30.    Accused a decorated police officer of racial profiling and racism by supporting a black friend of his without having the facts
  31.  Orchestrated a “beer summit” as a media ploy to diffuse the racially motivated comments previously made in defense of his friend against a police officer who has been cleared of any wrongdoing
  32.   Has jeopardized the security of our nation by initiating plans to prohibit our military from doing their jobs
  33.   Has not supported any plans to secure our borders by stopping illegal immigration
  34.   Moved key government components from under the direction of Congress to the direction of self-appointed Czars, reporting directly to Obama
  35.   Continued to expand plans to take away gun ownership from American citizens, which if successful would do away with the Second Amendment rights of Americans

These are only the first 35 that readily come to mind, created through various emails that come through my office, as well as through personal research.  I am sure I am missing many more.  And, this is only during his first 200 days in office.  Think about all Obama will accomplish if allowed to remain in office for the rest of his tenure!

America is in trouble.  Obama’s plans have harmed the security of our nation, and will continue to do so.  We must pray for God’s guidance and hand as we must hope that Congress will no longer allow Obama to engage in such activity that will threaten the security and future success of the greatest nation on earth.

What can you do?  Appeal to your Senator and Representatives and other elected officials to stop Obama from this madness.  Attend Town Hall meetings to disagree with Obama’s socialized healthcare plans.  Write letters to the editor.  Write letters to the White House (be careful to not give them your personal information, as number 36 may be that the White House is "data mining" contacts from citizens without their knowledge or permission).  Call into local talk radio stations.  And, by all means, join and support the NRA in their efforts to keep our Second Amendment rights alive. 

If America is to be taken back from the socialist Obama regime, you and I as Americans must do our part.
