Mr. President: America Says “Thank You”By Greg Quinn November 4th, 2010 After a historic sweeping victory across the nation yesterday, conservatives across America owe a big “thank you” to President Obama. Never before has there been such a “drubbing” (per Fox News) of one political party by another, especially the one representing the President. This sends a very clear message to the White House and Congress. The plans of Obama and his cronies in Washington DC are not supported by the vast majority of Americans. America has spoken. Conservatives are saying, “that’s enough!”. And we have witnessed the worst vote of confidence of any President since the 1940’s. Thank you, Mr. Obama, for being so liberal that even traditionally liberal States and liberal voters are sickened by your lack of performance and policies. The majority of states that supported Obama in the Presidential election two years ago have now turned on him, sending a clear message to the White House. Will he get it, or will his arrogance continue? Thanks, Mr. President, for exhibiting such a lack of concern toward the priorities of Americans that the end result is a sweeping victory by conservatives. America has spoken, and they want to see results, not empty promises. Thank you, Mr. Obama, for your “change”. You promised “change”, and you have delivered. However, your vision of “change”, the change of America from a free nation to a socialist dictatorship, the change of progressive economy to a failed economy, the change of large government takeovers, the change of the robbing of freedoms of Americans; this kind of “change” is not wanted by America, and a clear message was sent to you and Congress yesterday that America will no longer tolerate your form of “change”. Obama promised change, and he delivered. America has become sick of Obama’s change, and we lashed back at the ballot box on Tuesday. We Americans want our freedoms back. We no longer want the threat of losing our jobs, losing our homes, losing our right to bear arms, losing our economic prosperity that is America. America wants smaller government, not more government intrusion. America wants a vibrant economy, not failed policies of “give-aways” to Obama’s special interest groups. America wants lower taxes, not tax increases as he has promised. America wants a stop to terrorism and a plan to do so. America wants our military to be supported, not criticized by the White House. America wants our nation to continue to lead the way in space and technology exploration. America wants jobs, not extended unemployment benefits. American workers do not want to see their tax dollars go to those who refuse to work. America wants incentives provided to small business for the creation of jobs, not jobs stolen through increased taxes as part of the Obama plan. America wants a better education system for our children, not fat budgets for liberal teachers unions. America wants our borders secure, not amnesty to criminals who come into our country illegally. America wants a President who will not bow down to our enemies. America wants leadership that will stand with our allies. America wants a President who puts the United States of America first, not his own personal interests. America spoke loud and clear. Today, there is a new opportunity for freedom. Today, there is the beginning of a new “change”. Now, it is up to the Republicans to insure that the voice of America has been heard. Get in there and fix the problems. Make Congress and the President tow the line. Insure that Americans are supported over special interests and ruthless ambitions. As John Boehner stated, it’s time to “roll up our sleeves and get to work”. So, thank you, Barack Obama. Your liberalism has given rise to new conservatism in America. Your feeding us failed programs and policies that sickened our stomachs have resulted in our vomiting these programs all over you. Your socialist agenda has caused a freedom-loving backlash. We thank you for allowing Americans to be Americans again, to say that we have had enough, and that we are taking back our nation. Thanks, Mr. President.
