An Editorial Comment From Greg Quinn
This is an editorial note from one of the founders of
this site.
How far has our nation fallen! We allowed a radical atheist
and liberal politicians to ban prayers from our schools. Over the past 20
years, we have seen violence and crime increase among our youth
drastically, directly related to this action. We live in a country where
it is frowned upon to own and carry a gun, but where it is legal and
"politically correct" to murder a baby in its mothers womb. The
liberal civil liberties groups can get by with being racist,
anti-Christian, and working hard to take away our rights, but when
God-fearing Christians take a stand, we are closed-minded and intolerant.
Now, our society wants to tell us that we should just sit by like a knot
on a log and let these same anti-God, anti-American Communists tell us
that we cannot allow our children to say the pledge of allegiance to our
nation. It is OK to allow our kids to see Janet Reno actively
participate in a gay rights parade, but it is not OK for these same kids
to place their hands over their little hearts and say "one nation
under God". How far must we fall as a nation before God's people,
and those that love our nation, rise up?
Perhaps I do not speak for all Gunblast readers; I only
am speaking for myself. But, as the "voice of one crying in the
wilderness", I must raise my voice and raise my hand and say that as
God-fearing patriots I for one will not sit idly by and allow these
commies to further ruin our country or our children. It's time we take a
stand. A stand for God who created this great land. A stand for the
country that He blessed us enough to allow us to live within. Those who do
not appreciate it should move and call another country home, one that
appeals to their beliefs. There are plenty. Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq to
name but a few.
So, Gunblast readers. Let's send the message loud and
clear. Let's tell it to our politicians. Let's shout it to our Federal
judges. Let's make our voice ring louder than those of a few warped,
misled atheists. "Love this country and our God or get out."
Who is with me?
