John McCain is Right for America

You know, there was a time when I didn't think John McCain would make a good president. But that was before I learned more about him. After hearing Fred Thompson speak at the republican National Convention, I remembered a book I read when I first joined the Air Force back in 1975. The book was based on McCain's experience in Hanoi. I had forgotten all about it. If I remember correctly, the book didn't name names. It simply delivered the story of his 5 plus years in the hell hole. If I also remember correctly, it was written by one of the guys in the prison with McCain. At the time, I was on a mission to learn everything I could about the Vietnam war because I didn't know if the war was going to end or not. So I read every book I could find and hung out with all the older GI's I could who would let me. Anyway, I digress. I remember being totally awestruck by the story of this man's courage and strength. Hell, every bone in his body was broken at one time or another. Right out of the plane both arms, a leg, several ribs, and a shoulder were smashed. He never got proper attention for any of his wounds, and they beat him, starved him, tortured him in unspeakable ways, for five and a half years. I remember the guy in the book declining release. I remember that he had all his teeth knocked out for trying to talk to the guy in the cell next to him. It goes on and on.

That man was John McCain. I cannot even begin to imagine a more focused, stronger, more experienced person to hold the White House for the next four years. Barack Obama should be ashamed of himself for even thinking he has one iota of the mettle it takes to hold that office. Bill Clinton proved what the liberal Democrats do in the white house. I'll bet the floors were sticky when he left. Obama is a joke. He has to be one of the most self-serving morons in the world. He proves his stupidity every time he opens his mouth (been to 57 states and has two more to go, or approves of abortion in the fourth trimester). What a freak. What a moron. And that wife of his - forget it. She's as anti-American as she is anti-White. If only she realized that the white man owns her lock, stock and barrel. After all, who is it that writes her paycheck?

And Sarah Palin - there's nothing to say. Any woman who can field-dress a moose has my vote. She's shaken up Alaska like no earthquake ever could. She and McCain will do the same in Washington. When I see her and John, then see punks like Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, it makes me furious to think that I live in a country with people who actually think these two deserve to run our government. I'm to the point where I hate California and all its citizens. Especially San Francisco. Whenever I see their mayor on TV - that Gavin Newsome jerk, it makes me want to puke.

Anyway, I digress again. I think God has given us the best choice America has ever had for its executive officers. It's proof of His existence once again.

Have a good one, brother Boge. It's a beautiful day in America!
